MEET JAMES T. ELCOCK, PH.D.

James has facilitated workshops, delivered seminars, and lectured throughout the United States, West Africa and the Caribbean.  A teacher and theologian, he holds a BS in Economics, a Bachelor of Religious Education - Middle Eastern History as well as a Masters and PhD in Metaphysics.  He is a Certified Commercial Investment Member (CCIM) candidate.  James became an ordained minister nearly 30 years ago and is the CEO of LaMeD Academy.

James is the author of CIG-ZAG - Corporate Interview Game - Zero Application Gone, Old Testament Survey - A Gentile Reads the Torah, Hebrew One for Christians and Kabbalah for Christians. 

Co-Author of Commercial Real Estate Basics, Commercial Real Estate Goals and Marketing, Entrepreneurial Training for Creative Youth, The Old Testament Survey, Ancient Prayer, and Building Your Organization Through Diversity. 

James is the Broker of Elcock Properties as well as the owner of TES Manufacturing and DuraBond Paint.  He is a past President of the St Charles County Association of REALTORS(R) Commercial Division and currently serves as Missouri Association of REALTORS(R) State Director for St Louis Association of REALTORS(R). James served with the U.S. Air Force in Vietnam.  His previous experiences include Trust Officer with Manufacturers Hanover Trust, Business Broker/VP of Finance with VR Business Brokers, Personnel Manager for Phillip Morris/7-Up, and Managing Director for Minority Business Development Centers (MBDC).  James was also the past Chairman of SCORE (Service Corps of Retired Executives Association) in St. Charles County providing business managment couselors and services to clients in need of expert business advice. 

His volunteer work includes President of the St. Peters - Cottleville Kiwanis Club, Kids Against Hunger, St. Peters Chamber Board member, Interfaith Partnership Board member, St. Charles Community Council Board member, St. Louis Job Corps Community Relations Council past president, as well as volunteering as a Small Business counselor/trainer with the St. Charles City-County Library.
